The Helix board has become a favorite among team riders Kai Lenny, Imai Devault, and Ian Walsh, offering exceptional paddling, tube riding, and maneuverability. Initially designed by Keith Teboul for himself and Lalo Goya to tackle larger and hollower conditions, it quickly became a crucial part of surf trips and a go-to board during the winter months on Maui. Through collaboration with Imai Devault and Ian Gentil on Oahu's North Shore during the contest season, the Helix was born. While not strictly a step-up board, the Helix is dependable for handling critical drops and excelling on rail.
Featuring a slightly wider tail and a more centered wide point, the Helix is equipped with a medium tail rocker and medium entry rocker. This combination enables the board to handle heavier waves and maintain control at higher speeds. The medium rail provides ample grip while remaining forgiving for faster rides.
The Helix is available in a thruster setup with Futures boxes, allowing for versatile fin configurations.
In terms of performance in pumping surf, the Helix stands alongside the Crusher at the top of the hierarchy. The board is constructed using Camo Carbon Technology, which results in extended performance and longevity.
