Introducing the PIXTA model, an enhanced and faster version of our beloved 44 board, infused with Jordy's modern galactic influences. Meticulously designed with cleaner outlines and refined characteristics, this board delivers exceptional performance tailored for everyday average to quality waves.
To ensure blazing down-the-line speed, the PIXTA features a lower modern entry rocker. Its deep and pronounced single concave runs through to the 1/3 back of the board, reaching its deepest point in the fin area. This design enables swift water flow and quick redirection as it exits the tail, providing an enhanced release off the bottom and top of the wave. It also allows for greater control and release when executing maneuvers in the pocket.
Jordy's tested down rail configuration with a rolled shoulder and a softer, forgiving rail up-front is incorporated into the PIXTA. This rail design aids in smooth gliding over choppy sections and ensures the nose stays afloat even in bumpy conditions. The slightly wider nose outline allows for riding the board slightly shorter than your regular performance shortboard, granting a heightened sense of control from your front foot.
Completing the PIXTA's performance attributes is a rounded squash tail. This tail shape facilitates seamless transitions from rail to rail and maintains drive during powerful carving turns, offering speed and control even in critical and hollow surf conditions. Whether you're enjoying small, playful waves or tackling punchy and hollow breaks like Durban's beaches, the PIXTA has the versatility to perform in a range of conditions spanning from 2' to 6' at New Pier.
Introducing a regular performance shortboard designed to excel in all local surf conditions, inspired by Jordy's experiences competing in Europe and Hawaii.
The sleek outline of this board instills confidence and control, ensuring exceptional performance even on those weaker and flatter days.
With a strong and deep concave under your feet, this board amplifies speed both in and out of turns or maneuvers. It truly shines when taking on powerful surf conditions, enabling you to fully engage and push the boundaries of your surfing abilities.
