Introducing 'The Dark Horse' - the quad version of the renowned Dark Series, developed in tandem with its twin brother, The Dark Twinn. Engineered as a high-performance groveler, The Dark Horse and The Dark Twinn share an identical outline and core components for the majority of their design. However, they differ in wing placements, which optimize the wing-to-fin relationship and enhance the board's performance in this specific fin configuration.

Drawing inspiration from the classic Wing Twin template by Ben Aipa, famously used for Dane Kealoha's twins in the late 70s, and incorporating a modified 90s Swing Twin squash template, The Dark Horse caters to the needs of today's surfers.

This board features mid-range rockers, a lowered rail apex line, and a progressive bottom contour. The blend includes a roll from the nose transitioning into a single concave under the forward foot, followed by a deep double concave between the forward fins. It then smoothly transitions to a healthy amount of vee/double starting at the wing and extending towards the tail. The Dark Horse delivers a lively and responsive ride, proven to perform in a wide range of conditions - from mushy waves at Pismo Beach to powerful Hawaiian surf.
